Postdoctoral Scholar in Condensed Matter Theory | Brown Theoretical Physics Center
The Department of Physics at Brown University invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in theoretical condensed matter physics as a member of the Brown Theoretical Physics Center. The successful candidate will work in the group of Prof. Aaron Hui, though they will also be encouraged to collaborate with other members of the Physics Department at Brown University and to perform autonomous research. Research areas of interest to Prof. Hui's group include topological and strongly correlated systems, transport behavior, and critical phenomena. Close collaboration with experimental groups at Brown University and elsewhere is anticipated.
The position is expected to extend for a period of two years, beginning in the summer or fall of 2025, with a possibility of renewal for a third year. For further information regarding the position, please contact Prof. Hui at aaron_hui@brown.edu.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Physics or related areas.
