Reflecting on Michael's journey through the program, Michael's advisor, Stephon Alexander, said "Having Michael as my PhD student in our Astro-Cosmology-Theory group was a pleasure and a team effort.  Watching him harness his potential, hard work and perseverance to earn his Ph.D. in theoretical physics has been a wonderful experience for me.  He will only be up the street at MIT as a postdoc, so we look forward to visits from him."
