Welcome to the Molecular Biophysics group, led by Derek Stein in the Brown University Department of Physics!

This lab, established in the fall of 2006, will focus on novel studies of individual biomolecules using fabricated nanostructures. The scope of the research program is broad, spanning the fields of Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Engineering. The research goals are also broad, focusing on the fundamental science of nano-biological systems, while also exploring exciting technological possibilities.

If you are interested in joining (or collaborating with) the group as an undergraduate, Ph.D. candidate, or postdoc, do not hesitate to contact me at: derek_stein@physics.brown.edu
