Variable g pendulum

PURPOSE: To show that the period of oscillation for a physical pendulum is proportional to the angle of the oscillation with respect to gravity.

DESCRIPTION: A physical pendulum with a low friction needle bearing is started and allowed to perfrom Simple Harmonic Motion.  By adjusting the angle of the pendulum motion with respect to gravity the frequency of the oscillation is changed.
