PURPOSE: To show the of center of gravity.
DESCRIPTION: A series of long wood blocks are stacked on the edge of a table. The stack is sequenced in lengths of a harmonic series. The top block surpisingly hangs well beyond the edge of the table. A student can sit below the stack.
EQUIPMENT: Blocks. Stored in mechanics.
SETUP NOTES:The stacking lengths on the boards are marked with a blue felt tip.
