PURPOSE: To show Newton's second law.
DESCRIPTION: A weight and pully are used to accelerate a dynamic cart across the dynamic track. A smart pully and computer are used to measure and graph the acceleration. A projector is used to display the graph of the acceleration to the class.
EQUIPMENT: Dynamic track, cart, smart pulley, mass hanger, Science Workshop and computer.
