PURPOSE: To construct and show different refractor and reflector telescopes, also show equitorial and alt-azimuth mounts.
DESCRIPTION: The black board optics are used to construct a refractor. The multiple ray projector provides parallel light rays. The convex lens is used to converge the rays to a focus. The eyepiece is made from two convex lenses, as shown above.
Also, a reflector and a refractor are shown to the class. The reflector can be shown as an atl-azimuth mount or an equitorial mount.
EQUIPMENT: Blackboard optics, portable white board two telescopes from the astronomy labs.
