PURPOSE: To demonstrate that energy is transmitted through space in the form of electromagnetic waves, and
also to show the waves are polarized.
DESCRIPTION: The receiving antenna can be moved around in space. When the antennas
are parallel
the bulb will light. When the antennas are perpendicular the bulb will be off, showing that the
electro-magnetic waves are polarized.
