PURPOSE: To show the field of a toroid.
DESCRIPTION: A toroid mounted in a clear platter is placed on the overhead and powered with a power supply. A clear magnetic compass is used to probe the field.
EQUIPMENT: The toroid is stored in the electricity and magnetism cabinet.
