PURPOSE: To show electric charge.
DESCRIPTION: Electrometer, as shown above with the ac wall plug 12 volt transformer a VOM. The output of the electrometer is input to the voltage input of the meter. This is a high impedance buffer with unity gain that outputs to the voltmeter. It allows the measurment of small amounts of charge.
There is a zero-offset adjustment pot on the electrometer. There is no gain adjustment.
