DESCRIPTION: A mass and spring oscillates with the same period as a second spring with two masses.
EQUIPMENT: Three masses and two spring as pictured.
SETUP NOTES: These two springs have bright pink paper indicators and are stored in mechanics on the Black board mechanics shelf.
One spring is a common Black Board mechanics spring. The other spring
is a lightweight copper spring from the spring drawer.
