PURPOSE: To show that the sum of the three angles of a triangle add up to a straight line in Cartesian flat space but not in curved space.
DESCRIPTION: A triangle in flat space and a triangle in curved space. Show that in flat space the three angles add to a straight line. But in curved space they add to more than a straight line. Note that Plato or Euclid would say that the triangle we have made does not add to precisley 180.0000 degrees, because there is some error. But to our mind the sum of the three angles to an ideal triangle do sum to exactly 180.00000 degrees.
EQUIPMENT: Two Triangle devices are stored in Astronomy.
SETUP TIME: 10 min.
