"Towards Nanopore DNA Sequencing: Developing Nanotechnology for Molecular Biophysics (My Sabbatical Report)"
Abstract:
In this talk, I will discuss the latest development in the emerging field of
nanopore biophysics. The grand goal of this field is to develop a magic detector
that can read out DNA sequence rapidly. I will discuss our recent work using
silicon nanotechnology [1] and possible future directions we will take at Brown.
